Text made more readable, SDTV owners can rest easy.
Xbox 360 Fanboy has noticed that Rare quietly issued the long-awaited text patch for Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. You might remember when the problem was first discovered and deemed "too expensive" to fix, a position that was later recanted. The patch allows you keep the teensy-text if you choose, but it's hard to imagine why any SDTV owner would select that option.
Between the plot and game's instructions being delivered almost exclusively via text, the issue effectively cut out non-HDTV owners from understanding the game's mission objectives. Now that they can read it, owners of standard-definition TVs have a shot at Rare's vehicle creation contest, and kids finding Banjo under their tree won't be disappointed by having no idea what to do.
