Homebrewers and pirates have the upperhand once again. As usual.
That sure didn't take long. The first Nintendo DSi-compatible Flash cart has been released, not even a month after it was discovered that the Nintendo had done its best to effectively lock out the homebrew (and piracy) scene for the DSi.
DSfanboy reports that the new Acekard 2i will be be compatible with both the Nintendo DSi and the original DS and will as usual sport the ability to run both homebrew and [*cough*] ROM backups. And now that the DSi's been cracked, you can expect a flood of imitators to appear in short order.
Of course, Nintendo can probably release a firmware update and lock out all these fancy new cards. But that fact sure hasn't slowed down the Wii homebrewers...or pretty much anyone else, for that matter.
