Guerrilla Games QA manager Seb Downie confirms it won't even be an option.
In a recent post on the official Sony PlayStation message boards (via videogaming 247), Guerilla Games QA manager Seb Downie, who goes by the name "motherh666," confirmed that Killzone 2 will not require installation to the PlayStation 3 hard drive, "optional or otherwise."
Unfortunately, Downes doesn't explain why or how they were able to avoid what many of us have been begrudgingly getting used to. Regardless, those of you with near-full hard drives who also plan on picking up Sony's graphically-intensive shooter must be happy to hear this news.
