EA Announces "Best Ever" E3 Lineup, Names 24 Games

Spore, Madden NFL 09, Mirror's Edge, Dead Space, MySims Kingdom, and Mercenaries 2 to headline the show, EA said on Thursday.

"EA's 2008 lineup is our best ever," said EA CEO John Riccitiello. "This is the year that our core franchises leap forward with stunning innovation, and we introduce more brand new games than any other year in our history."

Electronic Arts will commence its E3 showing starting with a press conference to be held on Monday at 3 p.m. PST.

The Verdict:

Not a bad lineup. I'm particularly stoked for Mirror's Edge, Spore, and at least one of those wacky Wii games (having loved Boom Blox).
